Hi, I’m Makhosazana
As a first born in my family, I also carry a responsibility of being a bread winner. This has been the hardest task I have always carried since being a 9-year-old.
My younger sister, who was born six years after me, never wanted to stay with any helper that my mom got, and I had to attend school with her (advantage of having my mom as a teacher at the same school). I have always and still been a bread winner at home because I provide almost all the basics that are needed in life (shelter, food, clothing and education).
Fast forward, I have taken care of my siblings up until now (which means I am caring for unemployed siblings and their children). All these are counted in my pay cheque.
Since I have a daughter of my own and gotten an opportunity of being a Diplomat – I felt I needed to purchase a house for myself and my child so that when we visit home, we get to stay on our own (a little freedom). I managed to do that and felt relieved. To my predicament, the relief has been short-lived because my expenses have escalated and have no peace and stability. This has made me scout out for more sources of income as I realized that I cannot survive with the income that I’m earning now. I soon realized that therelief I thought I gained was a stressful one. My Mentor that saw and witnessed my miseryintroduced me to this wonderful platform and I said YES. My aim is to work independentlyand improve the lives of my entire family so that they can fend for themselves too. I am certain that this will work for us because everything has already been prepared in this business. No educational qualification, no age limit required. Dedication is all that is needed, and I am sure that it is possible to achieve that.
This has motivated me so much that I already tell them that – Wait, the business I am in now, will bring peace to this family and all our kids’ arguments will be: Please move that car because I want to use the big one; OR: Why did you leave that car unwashed because where I’m going I have to use a truck; OR: please next time fill up the car before parking it because you found it full.
The clock is ticking, no time to waste because you will not be able to gain it once it’s lost.
Let’s destroy and overcome this poverty and make a better world for all.
